8 March, 11:30–12:45 | Allt för Sjön, Stockholmsmässan
Sailing is for everyone – and now we want more women on the water! On International Women’s Day The Swedish Sailing Federation are inviting you to an inspiring seminar where female voices from both competitive sailing and recreational sailing will share their stories about motivation, development, adventure, community, and the joy of being out on the water.
You’ll meet speakers including:
- Anna Hjalmarsson – cruiser and squad sailor with a heart for shared sailing experiences.
- Anna-Lena Elled – passionate sailor, founder and editor of Search Magazine.
- Anja Dahlberg – “a completely ordinary recreational sailor” who loves life aboard.
- Lova Barthelson – from instructor to racer with a new burning passion for competitive sailing.
- Madeleine Lithvall – Creative director, brand strategist, sailor, and founder of Gybe Set, who has taken her sailing into both imagery and storytelling.
The seminar is hosted by Anna Östling, world champion in match racing, active in WINGS Sailing and communicator at the Swedish Sailing Federation.
Whether you already sail or are curious to begin, you’ll go away with inspiration, knowledge, and concrete tips on how to find your own path in sailing – whether as a recreational sailor, adventurer, competitive sailor, or instructor.
At the event you’ll also have the chance to meet several sailing clubs from Stockholm to make connections and get guidance on how to move from Allt för sjön out onto the water this summer.
Free entry to the seminar – but a ticket to the boat fair Allt för Sjön is required. Use the code SSF2026 to buy 2 tickets for the price of 1 on the Allt för Sjön website: alltforsjon.se
