Director UK Double Handed Series.

Kate Cope is Director of the UK Double handed Series, an initiative to bring the UK Double handed boats together for competitive racing and training. Formed in 2021, the series has built a strong community attracting racers from the UK and nearby countries. It provides a voice for double handed sailing and a pathway for new talent to join this growing discipline.
Kate races her own Sunfast 3200R2 Offshore Double handed and particularly enjoys the longer races such as Fastnet and Azores & Back. In 2023, Kate was skipper of the first, all female, double handed team to race the RORC Transatlantic from Lanzarote to Grenada.
