Booking Terms for Gybe Set Courses & Experiences

Booking and Payment

Bookings are made via gybeset.co and are considered a binding agreement between the participant and Gybe Set once payment is completed. By completing the booking, the participant agrees to the applicable payment and cancellation terms.

It is the participant’s responsibility to check the booking confirmation and ensure that all information, dates, and course details are correct.

When booking through the website, the full course fee is charged at the time of purchase.

Any gift cards or promotional codes must be applied before payment is completed.

Your spot is confirmed only once full payment has been received. A confirmation will be sent automatically via email once the booking is finalized.

Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the course start date will receive a full refund, minus Stripe payment processing fees if you paid by card (1.5% + SEK 1.80 for standard European Economic Area cards and 2.5% + SEK 1.80 for UK cards).
  • Cancellations made 59 days or fewer before the course start date are non-refundable.
  • No-shows (i.e. failure to attend without prior cancellation) are not eligible for a refund.
  • Any fees related to cancellation protection or transaction costs are non-refundable.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email to hoist@gybeset.co. The cancellation is considered valid from the date it is received by Gybe Set.

Course Changes or Cancellation by Gybe Set

Gybe Set reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. If a course is canceled, the participant will be offered a new date in the first instance, or a full refund as an alternative.

Weather-Dependent Courses

Some of our courses are weather-dependent. We therefore reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or adapt the course content in case of adverse weather conditions. If a weather-dependent course is canceled by Gybe Set, participants will be offered either a new course date or a full refund.

Cancellation by Gybe Set

Courses may be canceled due to low participant numbers or circumstances beyond our control (e.g. instructor illness, extreme weather, event cancellations by race organizers, or force majeure). In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to switch to another course date.

Force Majeure

Both parties have the right to withdraw from the agreement in the event of circumstances beyond their control — such as natural disasters, war, strikes, or other unforeseen events that make it impossible to carry out the course. In such cases, any course fee paid will be refunded minus any expenses incurred or value already received.

Complaints

Any concerns or complaints should be raised immediately during the course with the responsible instructor, or sent via email to hoist@gybeset.co within a reasonable time after the course has ended.

Disputes

In case of a dispute that cannot be resolved between the parties, the matter may be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or a public court.
