Private Sailing Clinics Onboard Diva 399 Est! Est!! Est!!!

May 11 - October 25

These clinics are available throughout the sailing season (May-October) and are tailored entirely to your goals, experience level, and ambitions. Whether you’re an individual sailor looking to build confidence, a small crew preparing for racing, or a company seeking a unique and engaging conference experience, we shape the training around you.

You might want to refine your sail trim and boat speed, master spinnaker handling, improve manoeuvres and communication onboard, or build confidence in navigation and route planning through the archipelago. Perhaps your focus is on racing; starts, tactics, and rules? Or simply becoming a more well-rounded and confident sailor. Whatever your objective, you’ll be coached step-by-step with a strong focus on learning by doing.

For teams and leadership groups, the experience goes beyond sailing. Working together onboard creates a natural environment for collaboration, decision-making under pressure, and shared achievement. It’s a powerful way to strengthen communication, trust, and performance – while sharing a memorable experience at sea.

Flexible formats

Choose the setup that suits you:

  • Half-day or full-day training sessions
  • Multi-day clinics with progression and deeper learning
  • 24-hour sailing experiences with an overnight stay in the archipelago
  • Evening sessions or race-focused intensives

What’s included

Your clinic includes the yacht, professional coaching, fuel, and all necessary sailing equipment. We can also provide life jackets and extra jackets and trousers (depending on sizes). Sessions are kept small (max 8 people onboard) to ensure maximum hands-on time and personal feedback.

Step onboard, and something shifts. Focus sharpens, roles become clear, and individuals become a team. Whether you come to learn, improve, or simply experience sailing in a new way – you’ll leave with new skills, fresh perspectives, and a stronger connection to both the sea and your crew.

About your coach – Madeleine

I’ve been sailing my whole life and have raced actively for the past 15 years, in everything from dinghies to the world’s largest three-masted barque. I’ve worked as an instructor for both adults and youth on keelboats (Diva 399, Maxi 999, 909, 84), coached J/70, J/80, and J/92 teams, led corporate sailing events, worked in yacht deliveries and charter in the Mediterranean, crossed both the Atlantic and the Pacific, and have seven Gotland Runt races under my belt (best result: 2nd place in ORC A).

I’ve earned a bronze medal in the Baltic Sea Race (double-handed), a gold medal in the Tall Ship’s Races, podium finishes in both offshore and inshore regattas on X-41 and J/111, competed in match racing on the World Match Racing Tour and the Women’s WMRT, and I’m also a Magenta Project alum (Media & Management Pathway).

Licences: Class 8 Ship Officer (Fartygsbefäl VIII), Yachtmaster Offshore, STCW Basic Safety, Norwegian D5L.

About the yacht

Diva 399 Est! Est!! Est!!! is a 40 ft performance cruiser from 1992, featuring slim Scandinavian lines and strong racing DNA. The yacht is equipped with wheel steering, backstays, a full sail wardrobe, and every control line you could possibly dream of. In our opinion – the perfect platform for developing keelboat racing skills.
