December 16th: A unique webinar with Oliver Hill on offshore and autopilot-friendly trim, practical rig-setup approaches, and optimising rudder toe for solo- & double handed sailing

Oliver Hill, 25, is a rising British offshore sailor and Sail Expert at Doyle Sails UK. He won the Vivi Trophy for Best International Sailor in the 2025 La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, marking one of the strongest non-French debuts in the fleet. Raised in Lymington and a First-Class Honours graduate in Yacht and Powercraft Design, he blends technical expertise with sharp racecraft. His experience spans youth squad sailing, Cape 31 inshore racing, and major offshore successes, including Rolex Middle Sea Race class wins.

Drawing on this blend of design knowledge and top-level offshore experience, Ollie will deliver a webinar focused on offshore- and autopilot-friendly sail trim, practical rig-setup approaches, and optimising rudder toe. He will share key learnings from his La Solitaire du Figaro campaign, offering sailors actionable insights that bridge theory with real race conditions.

This webinar is hosted in collaboration with the UK Double Handed Offshore Series. It presents a unique opportunity to gain access to otherwise members-only knowledge from a high-profile league racing on the Solent and around the UK. The session is interactive, with opportunities to ask questions directly to Ollie and representatives from the series.
